Ampex Metal Products was founded in 1960 as a metal stamping company and since that time we have been expanding our capabilities to include a comprehensive range of world class metal forming solutions serving the needs of our customers across a variety of industries.
Ampex is a firmly establish and privately owned business headquartered in Brook Park, Ohio where we operate out of two facilities. In addition, we have a distribution center located in Hidalgo, Texas, right on our combined US & Mexican border.
Financial Stability
Ampex prides itself on being a financially stable company and our approach to sound fiscal practices have allowed us to emerge from trying economic times in a position of strength. We own all of our facilities including all of our production equipment and continue to invest in new and innovative technologies.
Our financial strength allows us to weather market volatilities by inventorying raw materials as well as finished goods. This eliminates uncertainty from a Customer standpoint as we are able to adhere to agreed upon pricing during uncertain times.
Sustainability
Since 2007 we have dramatically reduced the level of solid waste entering landfills as a result of our manufacturing processes. We have implemented significant energy efficiency initiatives and have cut our carbon footprint measurably through the generation of energy from our 10kW solar array.
